The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling kitchen appliances, laundry equipment, heating/cooling equipment and other products and services to customers in multi-family, assisted living and hospitality. Using excellent telephone sales and communications skills, this individual will develop his or her accounts through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, follow-up on Company advertising leads and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers. Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new customers and sales through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and email
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Identify decision makers, generate interest and overcome objections of prospective customers
  • Close new sales and radiate sales from within existing customer base
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects and customers
  • Develop a strong knowledge of our products and services in order to emphasize features and benefits and provide the best solutions for the customer
  • Quote prices, discuss credit terms, submit sales orders, follow up on delivery and service calls, investigate and troubleshoot customer service and product issues, solicit referrals and be the primary contact for all communication with your customers
  • Create written quotes and RFP responses for potential and existing customers
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the Company database
  • Provide prompt phone/email follow up to all inbound leads and properly document and track results
  • Utilize Company CRM to track all pertinent information

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful sales experience with major accounts
  • Strong phone presence
  • Experience working with CRM and Microsoft Office software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong product research, problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
